Just two days later, my package finally arrived. Since this is my first purchase after just browsing your site and emailing your customer service, I’m super curious about the whole thing.
After opening the box, I saw that everything was in good condition and neatly packed, with my extra selections on top. I chose to buy a custom model and some extra wigs so I could quickly change her style.
My doll came with a dark wig and a stunning face with dark eyes—a true Mediterranean beauty, just like the summer romances from vacation trips of days gone by.
I also bought a blonde and a reddish wig so I could change her style.
The doll arrives in excellent condition, and right from the start she feels sturdy and looks absolutely lovely. Despite all the warnings about differences between product photos and the actual item, she looks very similar and is of truly high quality.
Once I’d dressed her and styled her hair, she exceeded my expectations by far.
It’s also really fun that by trying on different wigs and outfits, she suddenly became a completely different doll, and she’ll bring me a lot of joy in the future.
However, I’d like to briefly mention to you at Docklandet that, now that I’ve made my first purchase, I realize that the weight is—just as you mentioned—more noticeable than I’d thought. You really have to set her up in one position and then stick with it, because you can’t quickly switch positions or reposition her unless you spend a lot of time at the gym. I probably should have looked more closely at your slightly more expensive dolls with upgraded skeletons and other nice features. But you have to start somewhere before buying the best, right?
The quality of the doll is really good, but it’s hard to compare it to others since I haven’t seen them anywhere other than on your website. I’ll definitely be back to make more purchases once I’ve gotten a better feel for the doll I just received.
